SafSteps may collect:

- Exposure session data
- Journal entries and progress tracking information
- Community content you choose to post, including Encouragement Wall posts and reactions
- Approximate and precise location data during active exposure sessions only
- Device information, diagnostic data, and crash reports used to improve app stability and performance
- Subscription and purchase status information provided through Apple App Store services and RevenueCat
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and improve app functionality
- Save and sync exposure progress
- Enable community and social features
- Improve app moderation, safety, and performance
- Process subscriptions and restore purchases

Location Data
SafSteps only accesses location data during active exposure sessions. Location information is used to generate exposure maps, distance tracking, and progress features.
SafSteps does not track user location outside active exposure sessions.
Subscriptions and Payments
SafSteps offers optional subscription services through Apple In-App Purchases.
Payments are processed securely by Apple. SafSteps does not store or directly process payment card information.
Subscription status and entitlement information may be processed through RevenueCat to manage access to premium features.
Community Features
Users may choose to share completed exposure accomplishments and supportive content within community areas of the app.
Content shared within community features may be visible to other SafSteps users.
Moderation systems and reporting tools are used to help maintain user safety.
Data Storage
User information may be securely stored using trusted third-party cloud providers, including Firebase services operated by Google.
Data Sharing
SafSteps does not sell personal information to third parties.
Account Deletion
SafSteps users may request account deletion and associated data removal through the app or by contacting support@safsteps.com. SafSteps does not sell personal information to third parties.
Children’s Privacy
SafSteps is not intended for children under 13 years of age and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Third-Party Services
SafSteps may use trusted third-party services, including Firebase, Google Maps, Apple Maps, Cloudinary, RevenueCat, and Apple App Store services to provide functionality and securely store user data.

SafSteps takes reasonable measures to help protect user information and reduce unauthorized access or misuse.
